Anatomy of Deconvolution

Deconvolution, the opposite operation of convolution, is theoretically plain to understand: it reverses feedforward and backpropagation of convolution. However, when I decide to delve deeper into deconvolution, I encountered several intangible problems. For example, is there any difference between “convolve” and “deconvle” operation (I mean using a weight filter to “convolve” a feature map and using the same weight filter to “deconvolve” feature map to to get the original input feature map)?
